Community Events at Old Town North, Home of Camp Adventure, Inc.

Camp Adventure Inc., is run solely by donations and staffed completely by volunteers.  Camp Adventure Inc. plans to hold several annual family oriented events at our new home, Old Town North Park.  This will provide our community with family events, entertainment and recreation as well as, help support our very special camp that is treasured by so many.

Camp Adventure, Inc. plans to host a Family Festival every year on the Saturday of Memorial weekend.  The Family Festival will have hourly Concerts, Craft Show, Food Court, Kids Games and other amusements and entertainment.  All the proceeds will go to the building fund for the proposed Conference and Retreat Center.  Admission to the Camp Adventure Family Festival is free.  A hat will be passed at the concerts for a free will donation.  There will be tickets for sale for the Kids Games, Food Court and appropriate amusements and enertainment events.  All proceeds from the Family Festival Concerts, Concession Stands and Kids Games go to Camp Adventure, Inc., a non-profit, local summer camp for the physically disabled.  We hope to see you there!  Also, if you are interested in signing up as a Craft Show Vendor or Entertainment, please contact us at campadventureinc@yahoo.com  

The 9th Annual Haunted Hayride will also be located at Old Town North, Home of Camp Adventure.  There are usually twelve to eighteen frightfull stations that the wagon passes through on the hayride.  They have included, Translyvania with Dracula, Crystal Lake with Jason, Michael Myers, Albino Lady, Werewolves, Bigfoot, Witches Hollow and much more.  There is also a Consession Stand available with Hotdogs, Hot Chocolate and Halloween Novelty Items.  Camp Adventure's Haunted Hayride is always the fourth Friday and Saturday in October.  It runs from 700 PM to 1100 PM.  All proceeds from the Haunted Hayride, Concession Stand and Novelty Sales go to Camp Adventure, Inc., a non-profit, local summer camp for the physically disabled.  We hope to see you there!

Every December, Old Town North, Home of Camp Adventure, Inc., will turn into a Christmas Fantasy Land known as The North Pole.  There will be Christmas Light Displays, Living Nativity, Hot Chocolate, Reindeer Games, Sled Rides (weather permitting), Craft Shops and of course Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus!   All proceeds go to Camp Adventure, Inc., a non-profit, local summer camp for the physically disabled.  We hope to see you there!  If you are interested in donating any Christmas Yard Art, Decorations or Lights, please contact Camp Adventure at campadventureinc@yahoo.com    Thank you for helping give the gidt of adventure...Camp Adventure!
