“Camp Adventure is known throughout the Midwest as the ideal camp for youth and adults of all ages with physical disabilities.  We provide the best quality of care for each camper while assisting them to achieve their utmost potential.

We live up to our name ‘Camp Adventure’ by providing unique opportunities for our campers.  Some of these activities include swimming, boating, baseball, nature trips, bowling, outdoor camping, horseback riding and many other indoor activities.  This gives our campers the ability to leave the challenges of their disabilities behind.

Camp Adventure is located in the beautifully wooded hills of Eastern Kansas.  We operate year round with week long camps and weekend retreats; providing a full-time staff of professionals and volunteers.

Through close cooperation with the University of Kansas Medical Center, Wichita State University and other health related schools, we provide learning opportunities which benefit our campers and their students.

Our overall goal is to instill a sense of self worth, independence and capability in each and every person that comes to Camp Adventure whether camper, staff or volunteer.”
